That's why, Metcalfe's created “Metcalfe's Food Miles”, a national award-winning program that Metcalfe's Market is proud to call our own and helps you identify what's local. What exactly is “M Miles”? Good question…
“Metcalfe's Food Miles” tracks the number of miles that it takes for the locally grown and produced food to travel its way to our shelves. Look for this sign [ ] throughout the store – it highlights all Wisconsin products as well as those from Iowa and Illinois that are within a 150 mile radius of our store!
